Coakley's 80th

80 Year Old Visits
Yes, Pat Coakley turned 80 on Feb 16 and to celebrate, Pat and Katie drove up from Florida to visit us and their three children joined us for a couple days, too.  The families have known each other since 1978 when we moved to Harbor Beach and I took the elementary principal job.  Pat had been the high school principal there for a few years.  While Pat and Katie were older than us, our children were relatively close in age and we became fast friends as families.  We even vacationed together as families over a period of around 20 years at Brevort Lake and Drummond Island in Michigan's upper peninsula.  Many fond memories shared over the years and so very happy that we could all gather for this occasion.  The pictures here are not in order chronologically but demonstrate the good times.
