Team Rog, Michigan Visit, Grandkids

It was a busy last week of January.  Bob drove to Michigan to visit friend Roger and his wife Pat.  Roger has leukemia and, together, he and Pat are fighting the battle to get healthy enough for a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.  They are staying in our condo in Brighton so they can have a short ride to the UM hospital several times a week.  While there I also got a chance to visit the Denjas and assist Carmen in opening some early birthday gifts.  Also got a chance to watch Mikey in one of his karate sessions.

Keep the prayers, good vibes and positive thoughts coming and going for Roger!

Rose's nanny job of grand-daughter Avery continues and Bob assists.  Some pics follow of all the above.

Bob and Roger show off their Team Rog wrist bands.

No ice on the roads in North Carolina and Tennessee but lots of ice present from water oozing from the  rocks along the freeways.

Mikey is second from left waiting for the next command in karate.

Mateo and Mommy LeighAnne ham it up for the camera.

Got to see a little bit of snow in Michigan.  Nice to see and nicer to leave.

Some birthday clothes for Carmen

Daddy Mike and Peter play along

"Gee, I wonder what this is?"

A new guitar for Carmen for her 12th birthday.  We're anxious to hear her play when we get back to Michigan.

Grandpa Bob and Avery bonding

Kendall gets to stop by each time Daddy picks up Avery after school.

Ya can't beat eating fruit loops with Avery while laying on the floor.

Grandma Rose and Avery go to the library story time each week, too.
