We had a couple very nice days to end February. The nanny work continues with Avery. We all went to Finlay Park in downtown Columbia to support Maeve in the 5k Color Run. A few representative pictures for your viewing pleasure.
The Mason girls made some birdhouses with free project kits from Lowes. We put one up in the backyard in hopes that our flighty bluebirds might nest.
It's Barbie time in the nannyhood!
Run like the wind in your ladybug dress and Dorothy shoes!
A chilly start for the Color Run
We were surprised to see how many...around 6,000 runners about to get doused with colored dust.
They're off!
We had great spots at the starting line
A view of the park before the end of the race...see the last picture below as the runners fill the park.
The fountain at the top right in this picture is where Mike Houghten proposed to Erin!
The girls enjoyed the play area in the park.
Maeve finished the run in good time and got her dousing of color.
A view of the park with about half the runners come through. The cloud you see are dozens of color packets being released in the mosh pit of runners.
