Easter Eggs and Cookies! With a dash of Mazie in Facetime

The Mason girls stayed over a night before they left to visit Aunt Erin, Uncle Mike and cousin Mazie in San Diego.  Ever the great project person, Grandma Rose helped them paint eggs and make cookies.

Terror in a Toga party

We hosted a murder mystery party for our turn of the supper group that Maeve started.  We purchased a package called Terror in a Toga.  Everyone was to dress and take a role as a character.  Everyone got into the mood and fun was had by all.

St. Patrick's at Five Points 2015

For the last five years we have celebrated St. Patrick's Day by going to Five Points in Columbia and participating in the fun run/walk.  Until this year we had great weather and all the Mason family joined us.  This year the weather was not so good and a little sickness and visitors prevented the entire Mason family from attending.  But, Maeve and Kendall braved the elements with Grandma Rose and Grandpa Bob.

Getting ready for the day

It's poncho weather but at least it's green!

Here we go

Keeping the statues dry

Ben Tanner, a weatherman on WIS TV, started the race

Stretching and warming up

We're off

We're done...as the rain falls harder

We opened Delaney's Pub after the race

Our little leprechaun for the day

Another nice year
If you look closely by Kendall's hand you'll see a little leprechaun that so many people miss at the fountain in Five Points

We did not stay for the parade for the first time since the rain was really starting.  But, we were able to purchase some primitive art made by a local celebrity known as the "Chicken Man" whose name is really Ernest Lee.  He paints gamecocks and palm trees primarily but does other things as well all on plywood.
