Maison Mason

Over the MLK weekend we helped the Masons do some work on their yard.  A few pictures follow.

They found an old bench in the backyard and put it in front.  Next up is to paint the bench and pick some other, smaller plants to add color and texture.  The bushes will fill in over time

Edisto Island Beach

After our three weeks in Michigan over the holidays we returned to South Carolina.  We had reserved a timeshare on Edisto Island Beach and planned to take my mother along but unfortunately she got sick and could not travel.  May have been just as well since it was a cold week and we only made it for 3 days.  Maeve and daughters joined us for the visit.  We have been there once before and it was also cold...in fact it snowed!  It's a great spot to chill out figuratively and we hope to visit sometime when it is not liteerally chilled!

December Christmas

Many pictures follow of the Christmas time in Brighton 2014 along with some of the pictures taken at the Denja seniors' house.  It was a bit bittersweet this year due to many getting sick and not being able to enjoy the times and company as well as they wished.  Captions later.
